Employees at Tyson plants have unpleasant working conditions to begin with, now add abuse to the list of problems, abuse which violates workplace safety laws.
- Supervisors tell workers they can get a bathroom break: "Go to the bathroom then go to Human Resources". Implying the employee will be fired.
- Some employees wear diapers to work to minimize the mess, but that can lead to more urinary track infections, especially for women.
- Some people just don't eat or drink before work to avoid having to use the restroom. Not drinking when a person is sweating in a hot environment can lead to heat stroke or fainting.
